Raptor display
Pursuant to the commission of Dietlin-Artisan Métalier, FiveCo developed an alarm system designed to protect items displayed on a show window without a glass protection. Thus, if a visitor comes too close to the displayed item, the latter vanishes in the display case in less than 100 milliseconds.
The electronic part of the system was designed by FiveCo’s engineers; the system manages the detection of the intrusion, the movement when the item vanishes into the display case and the control of the interface. The mechanical part was designed by BlueBotics.
This system named Raptor, was presented at the Basel World’06 by the watch manufacturer Hublot and was well received as shown by the following articles in the press:
